I read in the New York Times that this is National Small Business Week
That 2 out of 3 new jobs are created by small businesses.
If you are between jobs or retired, you may consider becoming self employed.
Sure, you could jump through hoops & chase rainbows at the unemployment office...but that gets old mighty quick.
Tackling something big like selling off your collection of treasure or putting up your surplus inventory for sale in a store may feel scary or go beyond your comfort zone.
Strive to surpass what you and others expect of you.
Especially if you are self-employed, but even if you are not, you can be the artist of your life.
You hold the brush in your hands.
The events that life presents are your watercolors
Your dreams are your guide
Your canvas is the 24 hours that lie ahead.
If you don't like the color, the texture, and the form of your life, you can usually change it untill you get something more to your liking.
The good life means different things to different people
Only you know what is good for you
Courage is being willing to take a stand for what you want and to get busy creating it from the realities at hand.
Self Employment is an opportunity to make extra money
Almost too much fun to be work
We have 14 Dealers in our antique shop
Four Dealer spaces are available to rent
10ft x 10ft spaces where you can set up & sell
It's not complicated
Our store is open 5 days a week for business Tues thru Sat
I also open on Sundays & Mondays when working on projects
Often I keep open way past 5:00pm sometimes closing at 8:30pm
Our store gets great exposure to the 5:00 rush hour when the plants have a shift change.
With the road construction almost finish, volume of cars that pass our place is increasing.
Even if you're not ready to sell as a Dealer
Please stop by & see what's going on.
Mary & Cathy will be happy to talk with you.
More shops will reopen as the new sidewalks are poured this week...all this dry weather means concrete will be poured.
Antique shop owned by Peggy will be opened saturday
Bargains & Blessings may be opened this week too!
There's a Antique Co-Op on the corner of 6th Street & 6th Avenue but no word yet about if they will reopen.
One mile north of our place is a family owned business run by Keith & Debbie
