THREE PHRASES YOU SHOULD NEVER SAY TO A CUSTOMER
"That's our policy."
That's a destructive phrase.
It's primary purpose is to shut down a conversation.
Even worse, for some customers, it's a declaration of war.
It's such a terrible thing to say to your customer.
"There's nothing I can do."
There's always at least one thing you can do - return the customer's cash.
"That's the manufacturer's responsibility."
Your customer doesn't have a relationship with the supplier or manufacturer, so it's your responsibility to fix the problem.

Since I launched Antiques Texas City in April,

Small businesses like ours have limited resources.
We have to make the best use of our time and money.
Each of us lives with imperfection.
The best advice I can offer is
Learn to accept uncertainty
We never find the perfect deal
Just need to find the level of imperfection you can live with.
Antiques Texas City is located in the upcycled 1948 Jewel Theater building.
Dealer Space is available for rent
You can rent a 10" x 10" booth for $100. per month
