Seafarers Far From Home Get Texas Welcome

The Seamen Center of Texas City was founded in 2007 to serve the Seafarers who call on the Port of Texas City.

This non-profit organization's main purpose is to provide Seafarer's a place to rest and enjoy relaxation.

Some of the services offered are telephone, internet and webcam " Skype" access for crew members to reconnect with their families across the globe, transportation, as well as chaplain services.

Downtown Texas City location is one mile north of the Port.

Free transportation provided from your ship in the Port of Texas City to the Seamen Center.

Crews are provided with free return trip back to their vessels from The Seamen Center of Texas City.
