Wednesday is our 8th month anniversary
I launched Antiques Texas City back in April
Business owners understand that the economy will not recover overnight.
2000 to 2010 was the worst decade since the Great Depression
During this time I was very fortunate
But inflation has been held down artificially.
In the 1980's we had double digit inflation.
This past Spring & Summer has not been easy
But Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
No Hurricanes or harsh Drought this summer for us.
I am grateful to be able to operate my small business here in Texas City.
Fortunate to be in position to hire employees to help with my inventory and sales.
People do not part with their money very easily.
We try to offer unique treasures at reasonable prices.
Success or failure of a business affects the family.
I have invested my savings and time into this antique shop.
Every day is full of suprises!
